A Lesson I Learned in Life
Long time ago, I tried to cover my troubles away from my mom, so that I could avoid being yelled at. When it was my 6th birthday, my family bought a birthday cake to celebrate. I loved whipping cream, and that cake was full of it, especially on the sides. Thinking that no one would ever notice, I used my small fingers, and wiped some whipping cream off. I licked it off my fingers immediately. The part that I took some cream off of was now smeared. My mom noticed, and asked if any of us took some cream off. I did not admit to it. I thought I succeeded. Years later, my mom, sister, and I were watching old videos that my dad had filmed of us when we were young. Most of the videos were about our vacations in the United States.
